Conceptual proposal rendering, looking northwest

This park concept developed for the San Diego International Airport is a half-acre sloped earthwork with an observation area 16 feet high which literally flies over the sidewalk below. This work of urban land art can act as a place of quiet respite in a wild of native coastal sage or of heart-pounding excitement in the elevated observation area which provides dramatic proximity to aircraft landing on the adjacent runway.
